7  Objectives

To compare the capacity of different MIPD approaches to predict (first) dose to obtain target concentrations of 40-80 mg.\(L^{-1}\) based on the patient’s covariates.

8 Judgement criteria

The proportion of subjects whose predicted dose allows for obtaining concentrations in the target interval of 40-80 mg.\(L^{-1}\) (target interval is based on the guidelines of SFPT - the French Society of Pharmacology and Therapeutics Guilhaumou et al. (2019)). For patients, whose extrapolated dose to reach 40 mg/L was higher than 20 g, the ability to predict the fact that the dose is above 20 g was evaluated.

9 Context

Numerous MIPD approaches have already been developed to predict a posteriori concentrations. Application of the a priori approaches developed in this project could help certain patients to reach target concentrations interval faster this way improving clinical results and to reduce the number of necessary blood samples.
